In Loving Memory of Laura Snow

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our friend, colleague, and partner, Laura Snow, in January 2025.

Laura was a remarkable CPA whose dedication, warmth, and expertise touched countless clients and colleagues. She graduated in 1993 from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting, earned her CPA certificate in Oklahoma in 1996, and went on to complete her MBA from Oklahoma City University in 2002. After moving to Colorado in 2001, Laura worked as a controller for a property management company before obtaining her Colorado CPA license in 2006. In 2008, she became a co-owner of Swift, Snow & Associates, LLC, where she served the Summit County community with integrity and care.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Laura brought joy and kindness to all who knew her. She loved the outdoors, especially paddle boarding, hiking, and spending time with her family, and was an active board member of the Drake Landing HOA. She believed the most rewarding part of her work was helping people truly understand their accounting and tax situations, empowering them to make informed decisions.

Laura’s legacy at our firm and in our community is one of compassion, professionalism, and genuine connection. Her guidance and vision helped shape our firm into what it is today, and her influence will continue to guide us in the years ahead. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched, including her family, friends, clients, colleagues, and the entire Summit County community.

We hope you will join us in remembering a remarkable woman whose presence made our community brighter.
